Serial no. 7; .28 caliber, 4 1/4 inch flat-sided over and under, turning barrel cluster, with brass pin front sight for each barrel; the barrel breech marked on one side J. COHN/&/S.W. MARSTON and NEW-YORK/CAST STEEL on the other side; NEW-YORK on left side of bar hammer, and PATENTED 1851 on the other; scroll engraved, silver-plated brass frame; ring trigger; varnished walnut grips.
