Spencer manufacturerd by Otis Smith

Spencer safety hammerless revolver. Manufactured by Otis Smith of Connecticut. Maltby, Henley and Company in New York was the agents of distribution. A few thousands manufactured. Marked: SPENCER SAFETY HAMMERLESS PAT. JAN. 24, 1888, OCT. 29, 1889.

The complete weapon is of brass except the barrel. There is a safety (lock) on the frame to block the cylinder. Regarded in Custom as a “Oddity”. Exist in .38 and .22 RF. (Extremely rare)

This one is completely engraved, gilded and silver plated.
