Lever action repeater, precursor of the Model 36 and 336

The Marlin/Winchester Cody Arms Museum said that the serial number dates go between 1889 and 1905. They started making these in 1889 and ended the "model 1893" in 1905. After 1905 they were known as "Model 93".

It’s a lever action. It has a 26" round barrel.

It also has the Semi Buckhorn rear sight and the Dovetail front sight.

It has the standard case hardened hammer, trigger and lever, receiver and breech bolt.

It has a full length tube magazine.

The forend is varnished with a steel noise cap.

It has a crescent steel rifle butt plate.

Takedown Model, calibre .38-55.

26 inch barrel, half octagon/half round.

Short magazine tube, chequered pistol grip stock, tang peep sight and barrel notch sight combination.
