Smith & Wesson 1st Model 1st issue Type 3 revolver.

Smith and Wesson Model No. 1 First Issue Tip-Up Third Type.

This is an extremely rare .22 short single action 7 shot non fluted cylinder with a 3 3/16" octagon barrel, bottom break, spur trigger, silver-plated brass frame with blue barrel and cylinder, and square rosewood grips, circular side plate, cross-section of frame is oval with rounded frame sides.

Only 11,500 of these were manufactured between 1857 and 1860 so these are very rare.

This one is in Excellent Antique condition most of the silver and bluing is present as you can see.
