Smith & Wesson model pre 27
Calibre .357 Magnum, Post War, PRE Model 27, early “S” serial number, this one is serial numbered S126043, manufactured in 1954.
8 ¾ inch barrel, “N” frame.
First year it came with the diamond center S&W medallion target stocks without the extractor relief cutout (rare) barrel and frame serial numbers match, YA!
It’s a 5 screw model. Also pinned barrel, recessed cylinder. These became the Model 27 in 1957.

Calibre 357 magnum engraved
Finish is spectacular bluing.
She sports a 6.5" barrel with adjustable sights and the barrel is marked S&W 357 MAGNUM.
