Smith & Wesson Bodyguard mod 38 Airweight
This modern hammerless revolver is built on the small "J"
frame.
Under the Bodyguard name, models were sold with frames
made of carbon steel (S&W Model 49), light alloy (S&W Model 38), or stainless
steel (S&W Model 638 and S&W Model 649). In the 2010s, a polymer-framed
evolution appeared in the form of the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard .38.
