Lerap

In Brasil we know that type of gun for “garrucha”.

Must be invention of Portuguese and Spanish, I don’t know but it is what both claim.

That LERAP was the first Brazilian manufacturer from São Paulo state to make that type of weapon, in 1940.

Rossi manufactured some too, but not exactly the same.

Lerap factory closed activities in 1964, and don’t exist any more.

Others fabricants made this too (INA, Castelo, Caramuru, Chapina...).

We know little about the history of Lerap.
