Lefaucheux double action
The LF 21544, a 7 mm DA, manufactured in
Paris.
We have classified it in the "modification 6"
i.e. with:
- 2 pinching lips at the loading door.
- stops on the perimeter of the cylinder.
- barrel directly screwed onto the central
axis
This "modif 6" only occupies 19% of the
quantity produced, it is located between the LF 16051 and LF 22295 in the period
January 1862 and September 1862.
I place the LF 21544 around July / August
1862.
We (Arie and I) have classified the 7 mm - da in 9 modifications; from "modif 0"
to "modif 8" (modif 0 being the beginning with LF 34 and LF35 between a period
from September 1856 to June/July 1865.

The LF 11676, a 7 mm DA, manufactured in Paris.
We have classified it in the "modification 5" i.e.
with:
- 2 pinching lips at the loading door.
- stops around the cylinder.
- offset screw on the central axis.
This "modif 5" has the largest series in the
manufacture of 7 mm-DA: 37%
It is located between the LF 6626 and LF 15996 in
the period December 1859 and January 1862.
I place the LF 11676 around January / February 1861.

modifications; from "modif 0" to "modif 8" (modif 0 being the beginning with LF
34 and LF35 between a period from September 1856 to June/July 1865.
