Hampel C.
With regard to Hampel, In Stockel NR. 3 (thus classification by cities) under Ludwigsburg/Württemburg/D are a “CHAMPEL” and a “HAEMPEL (HAMPEL) C.”
When one looks at the signature on the lock it is seen that the letters C and H are in capital letters, therefore it is obvious besides that it is here about Haempel (Hampel) C. One sees also the beginning of the name of the city “Ludw….”
In Stockel under this name the date is: Ca 1750-1790, therefore 18th century and not 17th as indicated on one of the photographs.
