H. Meunier
GERMAN FLINTLOCK MILITARY HOLSTER PISTOL SIGNED MEUNIER. CIRCA 1728. .65-caliber, 3-stage, octagon-to-round, 12-inch barrel signed on the top flat with regimental markings "G.N.23".
Lock signed forward of the hammer "H. Meunier". Left side of the barrel stamped with indistinct proof marks at the breech.
Full-length stock with beavertail carving about the lock and side plate. Brass mounts with simple solid-brass side plate.
An H. Meunier is listed in Der Stoeckel as at Berlin in the early 18th century.
