K.R. Privilegert
This is a heavy wall piece of Bavarian make with "K (öniglich).B.(ayerischem) Privileg, (Royal Bavarian Privilege). The gun has the not very common Knocke-breechloading system and was made by the gunmaker and inventor August Knocke, who got this patent in 1844. The system was tested by the Bavarian government in 1845-46 but was rejected.
