A Mauser "Large Ring Hammer" carbine,
calibre 7.63 mm. "Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf A/N" is inscribed on top of the long chamber, and "Westley-Richards & Co." on the slide.
Tangent rear sight 50-300 m.
Extractor and safety have remnants of bluing. Small parts are polished white.
Grip is a later addition, removable.
Butt plate of black hard rubber with fine checkering and the Mauser logo.
