Some "WESTERN" photos

Billy the Kid

And here is the real Billy the Kid, photo dating from 1879-1880, with his Winchester 73 cal 44 and his Colt double action caliber 41 (probably a Lightning 1877). Ugly face, badly dressed and rude.

Buffalo Bill

Here is an example of a man's outfit who didn't have much to complain about: the famous Wild Bill Hicock, photo dating from around 1873-74. The revolvers are engraved Colt Navy 1851s with ivory stocks, the knife is a real Bowie, but as you can see, the holsters were probably too expensive.

We are sure that the revolvers in this photo are percussion, otherwise he would probably have worn a belt with pockets for his cartridges.

DALTON Emmett

Colt Single Action Army 1873, caliber 45, and Marshall badge that belonged to Emmett Dalton when he was a policeman, before becoming a gangster around 1890 with his cousins.
