Hood firearms company

I've enclosed info and a number of photos of a small pistol in my collection, from one of a number of interconnected companies that were in Norwich, Connecticut, USA in the late 1800's. It is a Robin Hood No. 1 from approximately 1880, with a 2-1/4" barrel and it is chambered for .22 short. I don't see any of this brand in your listings. They produced small pocket pistols in a range of calibres from .22 short rimfire to .41 rimfire.

Founded by Freeman W. Hood, who also was associated with Norwich Arms Co., Continental Arms Co., and Bacon Manufacturing Co. Trade names used for "Suicide Specials": Alaska, Alert, Bay's Choice, Brutus, Czar, Hard Pan, International, Jewel, Liberty, Little John, Marquis of Lorne, Rob Roy, Robin Hood, Tramps Terror, Turner & Ross, Union Jack, Victoria and Wide Awake. Inexpensive lower grade SxS shotguns under several trade names.

Located in Norwich, CT, circa 1874-1889.
