Smith & Wesson type No3
Mexican Smith & Wesson type No3 44 russian revolver.
44 Russian caliber. 5 inch barrel.
Frame’s top stamped with a number 1629 (rack or soldier’s number?).
RM (Republic of Mexico) marked with some kind of a crest on left side of the barrel
No other markings. No lanyard ring.
Very good metal retaining a good amount of its nickel finish on barrel with the balance being a pleasing age patina. Very good original walnut grips.
