S/W cal. 22. First revolver of Smith and Wesson. It was manufactured between 1857 and 1868, it is the 7th type.
The frame is dish; of the type 1 to the type 6 the carcasses were bent.
It is contained in its box in gutta percha, which is rather rare.
The total production was of 128000 parts.
