Hand Ejector 1st Model
Marked up as 1st Model double action Hand Ejector .32. The first Smith and Wesson with a swing out cylinder. Made between 1896 and 1903, they made 19,712 examples.
The cylinder turns out the wrong way.
With six shots en 32 S&W Long, with barrels in 3 1/4", 4 1/4" or 6", the last length was rare with only 1,000 examples produced.
Excellent mechanically, very soft but strong at the same time, it is a gun which is light and very precise, ideal for personal defence.
Curiously the firm here continued to use a sliding chamber guard placed behind the last one, in the gap, this system is reliable but subject to splintering.
Another curiosity is the bead placed strongly in front of the hammer.
