AUSTRIAN REGULATION PISTOL MODEL 1798.

Heavy cavalry pistol. This model does not have a ramrod. The weapon was loaded using the musket ramrod. This model was also in service in the Bavarian gendarmerie. In the various German states of the 19th century, we find pistols that take up the general forms of the 1798 model, with a more or less refined mount.
