Round, smoothbore barrel, provided with foresight, rings and two English stamps at the breech, 18 mm cal.; large flat plate lock marked "ARSENAL DE GUERRA DA CORTE 1851" on the tang and "P II" (as in Peter II), surmounted by the Brazilian imperial crown at the center; long wooden stock with smooth brass mounts and iron ramrod.
Complete with an iron socket-bayonet (53 cm long), with blade of triangular section.
