.55 caliber with 8-inch, round, brass barrel signed on the top "London".
The lock signed with the maker's name. Spuriously dated "1740" behind the hammer.
Full-length walnut stock with brass mounts and brass butt cap. "Stand of flags" side plate.
London proofmarks and barrel maker’s proof at the left breech.
Circa 1780.
