ECHEVERRIA HERMANOS
It is about a revolver manufactured between 1860 and 1880 by factory ECHEVERRIA HERMANOS, located in the locality of VITORIA (Basque Country).
Term “HERMS” is the diminutive of HERMANOS (Brothers).
His father was Jose Echeverria, and worked during the decades of 1830 to 1860. When he died, its sons founded the company “Echeverria Hermanos” to Vitoria, and they were devoted to manufacture weapons of the Lefaucheux system.
The pistol below was also manufactured by them.
At the beginning of the 20th century, a grandson of Jose Echeverria founded one of the most important factories of Spain. He was called Bonifacio Echeverria and the founded factory is the STAR, who in his beginnings was called STAR. BONIFACIO ECHEVERRIA & Co.
