Urreta Y Cia

Company established in Ermua, Biscay, owned by José Cruz Urreta Aramburu and specialized in the manufacture of Velo-Dog revolvers. Although the name with which they submitted a production of short weapons to the Eibar proofhouse in the decade of 1920, is that of "Sons of Domingo Urreta" using as logo the brand formed by the initials U.Y.C in a crowned circle.

In one of its commercial catalogs, dating from the end of the decade of 1910, there are three revolvers that they called Puppy, two in caliber 320 and 380, differentiated by the external hammer or not, and the third for 5 mm cartridges, called "Medium Hammerless Puppy". Revolvers for 8 mm cartridges with the names "Lebel", "Velo-Bring" and "Lebrog", and revolvers for 6 mm cartridges "Velo-Dog", "Velo-Dog Hammerless", "Velo-Reduit", "Velo-Reduit Hammerless".
