J.N BOSSET 1730
This
arquebusier is the son-in-law of Massin, a renowned arquebusier in Belgium and
Paris.
Made at
the beginning of the 18th century, transformed a hundred years later.
Great
longevity, which is usual in large families close to their heritage.
They
have fortunately retained their length of 52cm and great freshness. We can
assume that their destiny was preserved and that their final destination was for
hunting, requiring a greater length.
Very
beautiful gilded bronze fittings.
Typical
laughing masks
Pretty
sculptures
The
thumb pieces are held by screws, this is evidence of a high level of
performance.
Their
appearance is in the style of Louis XIV.
