Barrel Le Clerc

Le Clerc family of Paris (France), who where gun makers and barrel makers. One of them was Jean Baptiste ca. 1775 - 1819, who was gun maker of Victor Emmanuel I, King of Sardinia and Duke of Savoy 1802-21. The two "V" marks  are proofs for the government of Victor E. King of Sardinia. (See also "Der Neue Stöckel" Page 223, 224).
