ROCHAT

This is a system of which I already had a version in 7 mm pinfire, but with no other manufacturer indication than the St Etienne hallmark from 1869.

This one is in 9 mm pinfire, but with the SE hallmark from 1836 to 1868.

All its parts are numbered "7", my 7 mm being numbered "62".

On the left thunder is marked the name of the manufacturer: Rat F.A.

Searching on the Internet, I came across two sales (Th de Maigret and Ader) of this same model, which attribute this marking to Rochat of St Etienne. I think that F.A. can mean "manufacturer of weapons".

Why not.

From there to thinking that my two revolvers come from the same manufacturer, there is only one step.
