Pistolet 1822 T Bis "construit neuf"

Pistol 1822 T Bis "build new"

This Pistol is version II of the flintlock modified T & T Bis Mle 1822 except that this one forever known of flint (let us hear well).

Precisely, it’s what one calls “Built new” (“Construit neuf” in” French).

It dissociates original model by the following points:

- distorts lock before modified

- Barrel more reinforced of gauge 17-6 N (N for “Neuf” (New)) with runner taken of forging mill (where there is the firing chimney)

- The barrel in its version T Bis has 4 stripes.

- the rod of loading hollowed out “to bleed” (1) the cartridge of rifle to which one removes 2,5 grams, the remainder with paper and the warhead of the model 1857 or 1863 is used for the shooting.

The specimen presented lost its screw of hammer.

- It was manufactured in 1857 with Tulle (Imperial manufacture of the second Empire)

- In attach some other photographs

(1) To bleed in this case wants to say, “to remove a part”
