MAS 36 Launch moor
Rifle MAS 1936 is always active in the French navy as launcher (lance-saisine).
Equipped with a launcher of grenades VB (Viven and Bessières) and firing a projectile in wood with leather to provide the sealing. Drawn with a propellant cartridge (or “Feuillette”), the projectile has an effective range of approximately 60 meters by carrying a line.
At the end of this line can be fixed a cord thickness wished, according to needs.
For longer distances, up to 300 meters, rocket LXT-717 is used.
