Fréderic de Wahlfelt was Major of the 2nd Regiment of the Guard of the King of Sweden and Norway.
He was Director of the Military Institutes in Sweden.
His firearm was improved for the bayonet exercises.
He proposed his firearm to the Esercito Pontificio in October 1869.
