City of Maastricht

A very scarce Dutch Three-Barrelled Flintlock Revolving Pistol with five-pointed star on the barrels (City-mark of Maastricht), length 60 cm. Circa 1660.

Lock and buttcap are very nice engraved with typical 17th century flowers and a snake on the cock around the cockscrew.

The cluster of three barrels can be manually rotated and the triggerguard is acting as cylinder-locking. On the barrels are the five-point stars as City-mark from Maastricht.

The but is ebonised.

Many thanks to “BOLKANTIQUES” for the pictures.
