CZ mod. 27

Curious CZ27

I recently found a CZ27 in .22lr caliber.

It was brought back from Germany at the time of the liberation as spoils of war.

It is a pre-war production, as indicated by the single marking on the upper slide band.

Upon disassembly, it looks like a CZ27 in .32ACP except for the following points:

The magazine well is narrower to accommodate the specific .22LR magazine.

A standard .32 magazine will not fit.

The firing pin (ring-shaped), its spring, and its housing

The barrel and its attachment method (cylindrical studs)

It is perfectly functional and very pleasant to shoot.
