I wanted
to share with you a very beautiful gun!
It is a
11mmrevolver that I received today. It will be up for auction at our booth at
the War & Peace Show in England. We will be putting this gun on display for all
the visitors to see.
This is a very special one, as it was made (not been proven yet) for the Ruler of Egypt, "Sa'id Pasha". He was the ruler of Egypt from 1854 to 1863.
It has
the initials of Sa'id Pasha (SP) in gold, and then the normal "Devisme a Paris"
on the barrel. This is gorgeously inlaid with silver and gold!
I seen that you had one like it on your website, but it is different in some ways.
What is very strange is that there are no proof marks or any markings on it. I even looked under the grips and there was nothing.
It makes
me think that maybe this gun was made especially for Sa'id Pasha and therefore
no normal testing or proof marks were made.
